The merger of Thermo Electron and Fisher Scientific:
Dear Customer,
The merger of Thermo Electron and Fisher Scientific was finalized November 2006 and with this a new company was born - Thermo Fisher Scientific.
A brand new company with two premier brands - Thermo Scientific and Fisher Scientific - along with a number of specialty brands.
With this merger, the name Menzel Gläser will continue to exist as a product line of microscope slides and coverglass, marketed under the Thermo Scientific brand.

SuperFrost Ultra Plus®
The SuperFrost Ultra Plus slide is available with ground 90° and 45° edges. The slides with 45° ground edges are well suited for automated equipment.

CE MARKING
As of 7th December 2003, directive 98/79/EC, regulating in-vitro diagnostic devices, has taken effect.
The main objective of this directive is the continuity, or improvement of the current health safety
standards within the European Community.
MENZEL products are manufactured and sold in accordance with this directive.
This is recognisable by the CE mark, on every package, as well as the general packaging
layout, which has been re-designed to conform to the guidelines laid down in the directive.
