Adhesion microscope slides
Adhesion microscope slides from MENZEL are well established glass products that place an advanced adhesive surface on standard microscope slides. These slides provide superior cell and tissue adhesion and save money and laboratory time by eliminating the need for expensive adhesives and time-consuming coating techniques. Menzel Adhesion microscope slides are offered under four different categories

SuperFrost Ultra Plus® slides are made by using a new process ensuring firm electrostatic attraction of cytological samples, frozen tissue sections, or formaldehyde-fixed, paraffin (or resin) sections These slides are made by using a new process ensuring firm electrostatic attraction to the slide of cytological samples, frozen tissue sections, or formaldehyde-fixed, paraffin (or resin) sections. Advantages of SuperFrost Ultra Plus®
* EDTA may attack glass. As a general rule, antigen retrieval should not exceed parameters ( exposure time / temperature ) of published protocols. For EDTA this should be max. ~2 min. at 120°C; or max. ~15 min. at 100°C min. The SuperFrost Ultra Plus slide is also available with ground 90° and 45° edges. The slides with 45° ground edges are well situated for automated equipment.

| SuperFrost® Plus The SuperFrost® Plus glass slide is the time and money saving advance that Anatomic and Molecular Pathology laboratories have been waiting for. It ends the need for slide preparation in the lab; it virtually eliminates background staining in standard H & E Stains, and it has proven to be superior for cell adhesion in cytocentrifuge preparations in standard Papanicolaou smears.
SuperFrost® Plus glass slides are made by a process which:
Fixed paraffin tissue sections and cytological preparations adhere better to the SuperFrost® Plus glass slides without the need for special adhesives or protein coatings, eliminating the need to sub slides.
The SuperFrost® Plus glass ends background staining:

| Polysine™ Polysine™ slides place an advanced, permanent adhesive in standard microscope slides. Polysine™ slides provide superior cell and tissue adhesion and save money and laboratory time by eliminating the need for expensive adhesives and time-consuming coating techniques.
Polysine™ glass slides offer state-of-the-art adhesion. These glass slides are made from revolutionary technology with built-in properties that electrostatically and chemically attract:
Polysine™ slides are not affected by enzyme predigestion or heating, making them ideal for immunocytochemical and molecular hybridization assays on cell preparations or paraffin embedded tissue sections.
Added advantages of Polysine™ glass slides:
Polysine™ slides are not only designed for the research anatomist, cellular immunologist and molecular biologist, but also for today's surgical and molecular pathologist.

| SuperFrost® Plus Gold These slides are specially designed for the application of fresh or formalin fixed frozen tissue.
SuperFrost® Plus GOLD slides are made by a revolutionary new glass adhesive technology which first attracts and then chemically bonds fresh or formalin fixed frozen tissue sections firmly to the surface of the slide.
When the needle biopsy of kidney, the shave biopsy of skin, or the lymph node sample presents you limited tissue for the immunoflourescent analysis, make every section count with SuperFrost® Plus GOLD slides.
